Raising the Maypole

The League of Swedish Societies will be raising the iconic Maypole, decorated with traditional birch and flowers, on the grounds of Nordia House. An important part of Swedish summer solstice traditions, and a highlight at any Midsummer Festival, the League of Swedish Societies will give Oregonians a chance to swing by and take their photo with the Maypole.
